The European Union (UN) delegation opened the European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) for Filipino students coupled with the slow rise of education in the Philippines. According to Rafael De Bustamante, first counselor of the EU delegation to the Philippines, they will be able to provide higher education and other benefits through EHEF. "We don't only offer good education, we also offer experience of living in a county which is different from Philippines", He promised the community the Early Edition of the Abs-Cbn News Channel (ANC). De Bustamante added that EHEF aims to provide the broader scope of the program by sending students abroad to study, that the Philippines cannot afford. Estimated at 485 Filipino students that's been in their program for the past fifteen years since its opening. "People go to all kind of courses from dancers, designers, economy, business.. I think we have a lot to offer", proudly said by De Bustamante. Nevertheless, the counselor praised the Philippines ' excellent education system for securing the sixth place worldwide and first place in the Association of South East Asian Natio(ASEAN). The EU delegation urges Filipino youths to study at the EHEF' s pre-registration event in Shangri-la, Manila, October 26 and at the LYCEUM of the Philippine University in Cavite, October 28
